ROLE

Responsibilities

Challenges

  • Acting as the main focal point between the amfori main office, Networks and the amfori governance bodies;
  • Facilitating communication, and ensuring timely and effective share of information between the amfori main office, the governance bodies and the membership
  • Ensure efficient organization of the annual General Assembly, Board, amfori MAC and SAC/ amfori MAC-Networks (including preparation of agendas, minutes taking and follow-up on action points)
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process of members of the amfori governance
  • Oversee all other amfori governance meetings
  • Acting as the reference point for all questions regarding the  amfori governance
  • Coordiante the inputs from the amfori governance bodies to the development of amfori strategy and operations.
  • Assess and propose improvements to governance processes
  • Coordinating the amfori governance calendar and the amfori decisions tracker
  • Build and maintaint a contact database of amfori governance contacts
  • Managing the governance budget
  • Acting as liaison point for all contract and legal matters, collecting internal questions and obtaining legal advice from the amfori partners as appropriate.
  • Ensuring a participatory and transparent governance, enabling members and stakeholders to contribute to the strategy and operational development of amfori;
  • Ensuring the implementation of the amfori by-laws and internal rules, assessment, and review when needed;
  • Disseminating the governance-related information on progresses within the amfori secretariat, governance bodies, and the entire membership;
  • Overseeing the implementation of the amfori legal obligations vis-à-vis Belgian authorities as well as its partners and suppliers.
