Accountable for overseeing and enhancing the amfori audit quality programme, the Junior Social Programmes Expert will support the amfori BSCI system maintenance, implementation, and improvement. The right candidate will be a key team member for ensuring both the operational and quality aspects of the amfori social programmes. They will aim for Excellence in Membership Satisfaction, with Fairness and Respect for all internal and external stakeholders.

Scope of Work

Oversight, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the amfori Integrity Programmes

  • Maintain, update, and enhance the Audit Quality Programme processes, procedures, and tools
  • Develop and implement the Capacity Building Integrity Programme
  • Maintain overall integrity policy, processes, and procedures up-to-date, accurate, and relevant
  • Support in management of the Assurance Partner: Technical support, report reviewing, KPIs
  • Provide trainings to the Assurance Partner as required

Develop quality strategy

  • In collaboration with the Risk Coordinator and Social Programmes Lead, define the amfori Integrity Programmes medium and long-term strategy
  • Work with other functions within amfori, specifically Strategy & Innovation and Public Affairs, to ensure strategic alignment and communication

Support the maintenance and update of the amfori BSCI System

  • Develop and implement an innovative mechanism to collect regular feedback from internal and external stakeholder
  • Define the timelines and main checkpoints for 18-month amfori BSCI system revision
  • In collaboration with Social Programmes Lead, maintain amfori BSCI policy, processes, and procedures up-to-date, accurate and relevant
  • Support the preparation of training material on the amfori BSCI System for internal and external audiences
  • Support in defining a transition procedure for any new social programme that will be transferred to the Services team following successful pilot

Technical Support in amfori Social Programmes

  • Support in technical queries on system and law interpretation
  • Lead and support technical meetings, e.g. Calibration Meetings
  • Support in coordination, conduct, and delivery of Task Forces
  • Support in investigations off-site and on-site

Desired Profile for the Right Candidate:

  • University degree in social sciences, sustainability, or related field
  • At least 5 years of CSR/social auditing/social assessment experience
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of social sustainability issues, specialization in topics or regions is an asset
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, agile and interested in learning new technology
  • Global exposure
  • Ability to discuss technical subject matter with authority and credibility
  • Inquisitive thinker, strong problem-solving capability
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong common sense, ability to think beyond checklists and procedures
  • Excellent working proficiency in English, knowledge of any other language is an asset
  • Can work in a multi-cultural environment
