Monitoring Updates

amfori BSCI Audit Validity Extension - Update 

Following the continuing spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), amfori has decided to extend by three months the validity dates of amfori BSCI audits, provided that the auditing company cannot conduct the audit in time. This decision does not apply to amfori BEPI assessments, where there is no RSP holder.

Auditing in the Time of COVID-19

The outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has had a global impact on all production levels. In turn, this may lead to changes in workflow and working conditions in amfori members’ supply chains. amfori is working with amfori-approved auditing companies to closely monitor the situation in supply chains and identify any conditions that have arisen as a direct consequence of COVID-19.

Following the latest instructions from the Belgium government, our staff will continue to work remotely. Our IT infrastructure allows for this set up, while maintaining all appropriate confidentiality measures. All staff are available over email as usual.


Moreover, all business travel for amfori representatives has been suspended until further notice and all amfori-hosted events or meetings in Europe and Asia scheduled to take place in coming weeks and months have been cancelled or postponed. Where available, meetings will be organised electronically through videoconference or telephone.
