Gender Equality Forum: Unleashing the Full Potential of Women in Global Supply Chains

In many sectors, women represent a large share of the workforce in global supply chains. However, they are disproportionately represented in low-wage jobs in the lower tiers of the supply chain and are too often subject to discrimination, sexual harassment and other forms of workplace violence

By empowering women, we empower communities and society at large. Working towards eliminating gender-based discrimination, promoting career opportunities and including women in decision-making processes are all modes of empowerment, which in turn can make businesses and their supply chains more efficient and resilient.
The Gender Equality Forum brings together businesses, international organisations, governments, NGOs and academia to find practical solutions and for their workplace to address the importance of gender equality in the global supply chains.
 Join us to:
  • Receive insight into recent political and socio-economic trends related to gender equality and how they affect the global food and textile value chains Explore the business benefits of addressing gender equality in companies and supply chains
