In a dedicated workshop on forced labour we will discuss the role and rationale for businesses to confront and tackle forced labour and the benefits that can accrue for business. This will include a conversation on how businesses can work together with international organizations and government to effectively address the problem. In this regard special attention will be given to the EU’s new Guidelines on Forced Labour and its provisions to support business in tackling forced labour.  This exchange stakeholders from the donor community, civil society and UN agencies and as well as business representatives while looking at different occurrences of forced labour around the globe.
