On 2 April 2019, amfori will host a Forum about the integration of Syrians under temporary protection into the Turkish labour market.
There are almost 4 million Syrians in Turkey and only half of them are at their working age. The number of Syrians who are actually permitted to work are few, so it is essential to accelerate their integration into workforce in a legal manner. This meeting will help the producers that are registered in the amfori system to learn more about what kind of support is available from relevant organisations.
