The Commission has received a complaint by the Association of European Wheel Manufacturers, that it has determined contains sufficient prima facie evidence of dumping, and of injury caused by that dumping, to warrant an anti-dumping investigation.
The product concerned is aluminium road wheels of the motor vehicles of headings 8701 to 8705, whether or not with their accessories and whether or not fitted with tyres, currently classified under CN codes ex8708 70 10 and ex8708 70 50 (TARIC codes: 8708 70 10 15, 8708 70 10 50, 8708 70 50 15 and 8708 70 50 50), originating from Morocco.
Provided there is an objective link between their activities and the product concerned, members can participate in the investigation (by providing information and commenting on any proposed duties) as an “interested party” by contacting the Commission (TRADE-AD686-ARW-DUMPING@ec.europa.eu). Interested parties may also request a hearing with Commission (initially by 26 November).
If necessary, provisional duties will be imposed by 17 July 2022 and thereafter definitive duties by 17 January 2023.
