On 11 September, the Commission published Regulation 2019/1394 that amends the UCC Implementing Act. The changes relate to rules on surveillance for release for free circulation and exit from the EU customs territory. Although these are relatively minor, technical, and mostly affect procedures for customs authorities – rather than importers – it is recommended members refer to the amending regulation.
Members should also note that North Macedonia now replaces “former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
