The International Trade Centre (ITC) Standards Map provides users with comprehensive, verified and transparent information on standards, codes of conduct and audit protocols addressing sustainability hotspots in global supply chains.
Practitioners such as producers, manufacturers, brands and retailers use the map to understand:
- what sustainability standards currently exist,
- what is their purpose,
- how do they operate, and
- what are the potential benefits.
“ITC is very pleased to have amfori BEPI now listed and fully referenced in Sustainability Map: it is indeed an important scheme that users of our database have been missing and that they can now review and analyse in depth. Thank you very much amfori for your kind support in updating the information in our database and see you soon on www.sustainabilitymap.org!” said Mathieu Lamolle, Senior Advisor on Sustainability Standards and Global Value Chains, ITC.
With the inclusion of amfori BEPI, users can now also discover what amfori BEPI offers in terms of supply chain environmental performance and benchmark the initiative against other similar standards.
The ITC Standards Map currently covers more than 250 standards initiatives applicable to more than 80 sectors and 180 countries.
