At amfori, we are dedicated to transparency and continuous improvement within the organisation. We are also committed to supporting our members in these same aims.
That is why, in 2021, we will launch a programme to enable our members to be more transparent and to implement continuous improvement in their working systems. This will prepare members to meet future legislation and consumer expectations.
With our new programme, amfori members will be able to track, visualise and report on their sustainability performance and receive individual guidance on how they can improve. The programme will include aspirational goals and clear minimum requirements to ensure that all our members are aligned and to maintain the integrity of our amfori BSCI and amfori BEPI programmes.
The indicators will measure our members due diligence efforts to drive social and environmental improvements in their supply chains, their communication on sustainability or their participation in amfori governance.
amfori has decided to adopt a member inclusion programme to inform, consult and involve members regarding the development and implementation of the programme.
In a series of webinars, surveys and workshops members will have the opportunity to provide input on the different performance targets and on the approach to measuring and tracking progress. amfori will kick-off the member inclusion programme with a webinar to provide all members with a thorough understanding of the objectives and the involvement opportunities.
