amfori Sustainability Platform Update

On Monday 12 October, amfori hosted a webinar on the amfori Sustainability Platform. The webinar outlined the introduction of the PDF report and offered an update on business partner migration. Below, you will find a summary of some of the topics covered. If you missed the webinar or would like to watch it again, you can find the recording in the amfori Academy.

PDF report

The lean PDF is designed to:

  • address imminent user needs
  • safeguard confidential information
  • limit undesired use
  • present crucial information
  • be GDPR compliant

The PDF report will contain details on the business partner such as name and address, the overall audit rating, performance area ratings and a general description. The PDF will contain a direct link back to the full monitoring result in the amfori Sustainability Platform.

To access the PDF report, navigate to the sustainability profile of your business partner, select the chosen site, select the latest social audit report then in the top right-hand corner you will see an ‘Export result’ button.

Business Partner Migration

Due to various factors including incorrect email data, the number of producers migrating to the amfori Sustainability Platform has been slow. To counter this amfori has implemented measures to speed up the process. The first wave of measures includes improving business partner communications and increasing the validity of the invitation from 15 to 45 days.

Additionally, the supply chain mapping overview has been upgraded. As a member, you are now able to see an overview of all your business partners with the status of their invitations. By clicking on each invite, you can either cancel or resend the invite, or update the email address should it be incorrect. In a future upgrade, the ability to send invitations in bulk will be implemented.

In the next weeks, an automatic migration of audit history will be introduced. This means that when amfori triggers the migration of a segment, an invitation will still be sent to both member and producer, but the migration history of the business partner will be migrated before they accept the invitation and classify themselves. This means that when a member starts up in the new platform you will be able to immediately view the audit history and reports of your producers.
