European Associations Respond to Commission’s COVID-19 Customs Guidelines



Following our article of 9 April, amfori has joined with other EU associations to write to the Director General responsible for customs and taxation (DG TAXUD) at the European Commission. In the letter we express the need for the Commission to play a more coordinating role; advising Member States how the various solutions can be done in a harmonised manner and noting that a uniform application of the Union Customs Code among the Member States is vital.
