This issue features the outcomes of the FTA Forum on E-commerce: E-commerce in a Globalised World held on 11 June 2015 in Brussels. Bringing together more than 80 key players from business, government and consumer organisations, this event explored the business and legislative framework for e-commerce in Europe. Along with photos and session summaries, we share key observations and figures on the topic of e-commerce at the European and international level.
The Trade Perspectives also share FTA’s recent meetings including our high-level meetings with the Chinese government concerning the "Made in China 2025" strategy, our latest discussions with Commissioner Malmström's cabinet which raised the issues faced by EU companies exporting footwear to Turkey, along with ongoing negotiations in which FTA is active.
Finally, as well as a round-up of FTA's latest activities, we present an overview of European trade news. To read the FTA Trade Perspectives, click here.
