FTA Strengthens Ties with Korean Businesses

On the 19 June, the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) to promote trade and commercial relations between European retailers and South Korean companies.

The MoU aims at intensifying cooperation between both trade associations and builds on the fruitful framework conditions established by the EU-Korea free trade agreement, which came into force in July 2011. The FTA actively supported these bilateral negotiations and has shown a long-lasting engagement with South Korea.
