Implementing BSCI in the Food sector: lessons learnt and new challenges

On 9th June 2010, BSCI organized the first BSCI informative session under the theme: \"Implementing BSCI in the Food sector: lessons learnt and new challenges\". The idea of the workshop was to give BSCI members dealing with the food sector the opportunity to share experiences and expectations for this sector and come up with recommendations to the Food and Primary Production Committee for them to decide upon a long term strategy. The event counted very relevant speakers in the morning session as well as workshop sessions in the afternoon to identify challenges and opportunities for BSCI in the Food sector and social risks in the food supply chain (from farm to final consumer).
