Member States make the consumer pay


EU Member States at today's Anti-Dumping Committee voted in favour of the Commission's proposal to impose definitive anti-dumping duties on imports from China of ceramic tableware and kitchenware. The duties range up to 36% and will be in place for five years. The EU Council is also due to vote on the proposal before 15 May. The FTA regrets this decision taken by Member States, fearing the duty level, although lower than initially proposed, would lead to an increase to the consumer price.
