According to the Regulation 2016/330, using the provisions accorded under Article 8 (1) of Regulation 978/2012, and with reference to 1213/2012, tariff preferences will continue to be suspended on the following products:
- India: Mineral products; inorganic and organic chemicals; textiles (under Chapters 50 – 60); motor vehicles.
- Indonesia: Live animals and animal products (excl. fish); animal or vegetable oils, fats and waxes.
- Ukraine: Animal or vegetable oils and waxes; railway and tramway vehicles and products.
The following new products will have their tariff preferences suspended:
- India: Pearls and precious metals; iron and steel and articles thereof; base metals and articles thereof.
- Kenya: Live plants and floricultural products.
The following products will have their tariff preferences re-instated:
- India: Chemicals other than organic and inorganic chemicals; raw hides and skins and leather.
The measures shall apply as from 1 January 2017 until 31 December 2019.
